Team Design Challenge - Prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse

In the wild world of remote work, learning designers often find themselves tucked away in their own little corners, missing out on those spontaneous "Aha!" moments that pop up when you're sharing a physical space. As a company crafting online learning for first responders, we spotted this hiccup and decided to whip up some intentional chances to spark innovation, swap ideas, and build a design culture that’s more connected than your Wi-Fi on a good day.


Enter Debrief Week—our team’s special time for collaboration, reflection, and creative shenanigans—alongside our annual Design Challenges, where friendly rivalries push us to think outside the box, or at least outside our usual Zoom backgrounds. Here’s a sneak peek at my own masterpiece.


This time around, our topic was the Zombie Apocalypse, and in my design, I decided to take a slightly different route. I hope you enjoy the interaction as much as a zombie enjoys brains!
