Developer Tools: After Effects, Captivate, Camtasia
Overview
Within each course design, an Instructional Designer will use whatever is at their disposal to make the project stand out and meet the client's needs. If a developer is using one tool and only one tool they are severely limiting their potential. With this project, I wanted to include animation that was not available in Captivate and might take double the time if developed in Camtasia. So, I turned to Adobe After Effects. This tool is a true powerhouse in animation and for those who are familiar with it can make development a breeze with an enormous amount of effects at the developer's disposal.
